We have been living in Warragul, VIC for over 18 months and during that time it has really been pointless in having a mobile phone at home (well our home and the surrounding area). The signal was extremely weak from the two towers that covered town due to the land topography.
Congestion was also a previous issue. When you did have reasonable signal, data conectivity was patchy at best due to the amount of hand sets that would connect to the current infrastructure.
Well, all that changed just on a week ago when the third tower in the area came on-line. We now have full signal at home, even in a fully insulated house.
I am pleased to report that data congestion on the Telstra network has been mitigated and that you are able to place and receive calls with ease (no more ventures to the nature strip just to make a call hold).
So a big thank you to Telstra for your continued investment in regional Victoria. So not only do we have Telstra 4G LTE access, we also have superior network coverage.
